Roger Grey garnered the most votes for the Kayenta Township Commission
Window Rock, AZ – The Navajo Nation announced its new leaders with 105 Chapters reporting by 9:15 pm as Ben Shelly and Rex Lee Jim entered the Window Rock Gorman Hall and declared victory onto a KTNN Live Feed with L.A. Williams. The evening was intense, back and forth, as each chapter reported their results. At one point, with over 40 Chapters reporting, Lynda Lovejoy had surpassed the winning candidates. Then slowly, Ben Shelley and Rex Lee Jim slowly pulled away to victory. A total of 64,049 votes were cast in this year’s election. Here are the unofficial results from November 2, 2010:
